Ryan Stark

Joining the NextGen Committee is a dream come true for this born and bred Edmontonian. It is the opportunity for our generation to help shape our city.

As co-chair of the Pecha Kucha Working Group also, Ryan dreams of Pecha Kucha Nights that fill the Jubilee Auditorium one day.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science with a minor in Business from the University of Alberta, Ryan worked on a variety of projects with the City of Edmonton, such as the bid for EXPO 2017 in Edmonton. Currently, he is an Account Executive with Incite.

Ryan is a member of Junior Chamber International and treasurer of a local Toastmasters International chapter. He is also on the committee planning Fashion with Compassion — the flagship fundraiser for Sorrentino’s Compassion House. He won Avenue Magazine Edmonton's Best Dressed Contest, had his closet featured in the Edmonton Journal, and has been a hair model for Schwarzkopf Professional.

Ryan once heard the saying, "We only see what we're prepared to see." He hopes he can help you prepare. Edmonton has much to offer.
